Medical condition before Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for OPCA
At admission, Patient Wu’s quality of life was very poor. He couldn’t speak clearly. Due to his disease, his gait was unsteady: he swayed from side to side, and almost falling.
He also had debilitating orthostatic hypotension: and the difference between his prone and standing blood pressure was 25mmHg.
Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for OPCA
Patient received injections of Neural Stem Cells; Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Treatment; Rehabilitation Training.
Medical condition after Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for OPCA
Generally speaking, Wu’s overall condition took a favorable turn after one month of Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for OPCA.
Now he can better walk, and in a more stable manner. Although he is still unable to walk in a straight line, his condition is much better than before. Also, it is much easier for him to communicate with people now. His orthostatic hypotension has resolved (no significant difference in BP from prone to standing).
